MAriska MA Veepilaikaliyamma Ponkal Festival

On 13-01-2020, I organised a Ponkal Festival, just two days before the official Ponkal Festival celebrated all over Tamil Nadu. 

Many days of preparation, organising a programme, creating new artworks for my exhibition, printing the invitations...

The title of the exhibition is Veepumarattamman Nakamman Sakti, I will explain the paintings in more detail on my web-site www.maecoart.com and on my blogs. Additionally, there will be a visual meditation for every painting. So, you can experience a guided meditation journey and deepen your understanding of my paintings. Every artwork symbolizes the different healing energies of the Neem Tree Mother-Goddesses and Snake-Goddesses. 

From Mr.Balasubramanian, I got a generous donation of 10 beautiful saris for the kolam competition. Kolam is the ephemeral art of women in Tamil Nadu. Every day, one can see a kolam in front of the door step in order to honour Bhumi Devi, the Earth Mother-Goddess. 

Mangala Isai gave a great concert with Nadeeswaram and Drum music. They started to play and would have played for hours, although I just booked them only for one hour. I really appreciated their enthusiasm. 

After the concert, TGJ Nadanalayam presented a Bharatanatyam Dance. 

From Hotel Pranaav, Madurai, I ordered Idli and Vadai for a dinner, annadhanam serving approximately 70 people. Dominique-Emmanuel Blanchard (DEB) gave a donation for the Idli, Amaravathi for the Vadai and Natarajan Supermarket, New Natham Main Road, Madurai for Multigrain Laddu. 

The next festival is scheduled for Panguni.

Plusieurs jours de préparation, organisation d'un programme, création de nouvelles œuvres pour mon exposition, impression des invitations…

Le titre de l'exposition est Veepumarattamman Nakamman Sakti, j'expliquerai les peintures plus en détail sur mon site internet www.maecoart.com et sur mes blogs. De plus, il y aura une méditation visuelle pour chaque peinture. Ainsi, vous pouvez vivre un voyage de méditation guidé et approfondir votre compréhension de mes peintures. Chaque œuvre d'art symbolise les différentes énergies de guérison des Déesses-Mères des arbres Neem et des Déesses des serpents.

De Mr.Balasubramanian, j'ai reçu un généreux don de 10 beaux saris pour le concours de kolam. Le kolam est l'art éphémère des femmes du Tamil Nadu. Chaque jour, on peut voir un kolam devant le pas de la porte afin d'honorer Bhumi Devi, Déesse-Mère de la Terre.

Mangala Isai a donné un grand concert avec Nadeeswaram et tambours. Ils ont commencé à jouer et auraient joué pendant des heures, même si je ne les ai réservés que pour une heure. J'ai vraiment apprécié leur enthousiasme.
